Electric Mountain Drive™, Type 3
Our newest Electric Mountain Drive variant designed especially for Dutch bakfeit style cargo bikes. Mounts directly to the frame forward of the bottom bracket using clamps similar to those used on our Electric Mid-Drive systems. With a motor of up to 1000 Watts, and beyond and with EcoSpeed's Velociraptor™ Intelligent Motor Controller, this mid-drive design allows for the most efficient possible pedal-only operation combined with the most speed and hill climbing ability for a given motor size. Since this is a new product, we only fit a few different cargo bikes at this time. Cargo Monster
This fits in both our recumbent and cargo categories. The Cargo Monster is an Electric Mid-Drive adapted to work with Terracycle's Cargo Monster. The Cargo Monster is a kit that adapts an XtraCycle™ cargo carrier accessory to recumbent tadpole trikes. Where the bakfeit style cargo bike is a stately and dignified way to haul your stuff from point A to point B, the Cargo Monster is a low riding screamer with train on rail handling. It's just the thing to load up with your camping gear and head out across a continent. Which is exactly what some of our customers have done with it.

Velociraptor motor controller that comes with our systems can work with almost any battery system from 18 to 60 volts. You
can buy a few small lead acid batteries from your local battery store, wire them up in series, and you'll be up and running
with less than $200 in batteries. Or, choose one of the many lithium batteries available online. We'll be happy to give you advice
on choosing batteries. Optional upgrade to a silky smooth Phil Wood™ bottom bracket for ultra refined pedaling feel.

Terracycle Cargo Monster
The new Terracycle Cargo Monster is a cargo carrying accessory that will fit almost any tadpole style recumbent trike. Not only does it allow you to carry lots of stuff, it extends the trike wheelbase for better stability at higher speeds and features welded on frame tabs for attaching an EcoSpeed EMD. You can get all the details here. This is the frame adapter to go with any Cargo Monster installation. Electric assist plus cargo carrying is the perfect marriage.
